So I installed this intake on my 2017 silverado 5.3L, and man, the sound it makes when it down shifts is pretty nice! It has a nice purr/rumble to it when it drops gears and sounds aggressive. I also like that the rumble isn’t there all the time like an exhaust, so it’s not annoying. Performance wise, can’t really notice too much of a power difference in a vehicle of this weight, but I did notice that it has a faster throttle response. On top of that my MPG’s seemed to have gone up a bit too. What I like a lot about this is that it looks super clean and flashy under the hood with the window it has, but the housing also makes it look stock

Never imagine the performance that a simple customization could donto a vehicle. My truck sounds amazing when accelerating and performing on the mpg. The upgrade not only has change performance wise, the looks on the engine has absolutely change giving it more space around the engine and giving it a personal touch from you to your truck. Im 100% satisfied with the product, and I would highly recommend Cold Air Inductions just about to anyone who is out in the market looking into installing a Cold Air Intake. Thank you CAI!

If you are on the fence about getting this product just go for it. I have had my on my 6.2 2015 Silverado for a few months now and I am extremely happy with it.

I have noticed a small increase in fuel economy around 1.5 mpg better and the horsepower which I saw on the you tube ad was nice around 14hp increase. Very pleased.

This system was easy to install for someone that has very limited knowledge. Instructions and You Tube make it easy to follow within the time estimate. I like the look and like the extra sound produced. Although the additional sound is only when I hit the accelerator. my normal acceleration speed doesn’t produce any additional sound…which is perfect for my wants. I don’t know nor do I have the ability to measure the performance of the vehicle; regardless, I am pleased with my purchase!!
